He was born July 14, 1922 in Jasper County, the son of Paul and May M. Litzelman Ochs. He married Pauline Marie Rund on Nov. 22, 1945 in Tuscola. She preceded him in death on March 4, 1996. He was also preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Steven Paul Ochs, one granddaughter, one grandson, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his children, Karen McGuire of Urbana, Barbara (Robert) MacFarland of Columbus, Ohio, Gary Ochs of Tuscola, Dennis (Mary) Ochs of Tuscola, Diana (Ed) Tunney of Chicago, Greg (Susie) Ochs of Tuscola, Brent Ochs of Chicago and Jeff (Yadi) of Forest Park; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Ochs, Katy Moss, Brett Ochs, Lauren Ochs, Kristen Ochs, Colin Ochs, Erin Tunney and Ryan Tunney and three great-grandchildren, Sydney Moss, Sicily Moss and Marcus Ochs.
