  [S927] Obituary. Villa Grode, June 13 - The remains of Mrs. Wilber Rund arrived in Villa Grove Tuesday evening from Ann Arbor, Mich. where she had died Sunday evening at 4:40 o'clock, following an operation on the brain. Mrs. Rund had been in ill health for some time and for the past four months had been at the home of her parents in Spalding, O. Her condition became so alarming that she was taken to a hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind, and her husband was called to her bedside last Tuesday. The following Friday she was taken to the Ann Arbor hospital and underwent an operation from which she did not recover. The x-ray examination reveled a brain tumor. Mrs. Rund was 39 years of age and was formerly Veronica Verttar, of Spalding, O. She was married there seven years ago last February and has lived in the vicinity since that time. Besides her husband she leaves three children, Francis, 5, Pauline 3 1/2, and a baby ten months old. Her parents and four brothers reside in Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the St. Mary's church, seven miles northwest of Villa Grove, Thursday morning and interment will be in the St. Mary's cemetery.
