New Orleans, Louisiana Be It Remembered, That on this day, to wit: the Twenty-fifth of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and ninety five and the ninety (unable to read) of the Independence of the United States of America, before me, S.R. OLLIPHANT, M.D., President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared: H. Hecker an undertaker, a native of this city residing at Carrollton in this city who hereby declares that Mrs. Widow Martelina Schneider Wingerter (white) a native of Germany, aged 83 years departed this life, yesterday (24 March 1895) at the Asylum of Little Sisters of the Poor, Prytania St. in this city. Cause of Death Senile Debility Certificate of Dr. E. F. Shepard Deceased was a resident of this city for 35 years. Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid H. Hecker as also in that of Messrs. P. H. Lanange J.B.
