He was born Oct. 27, 1924, in Roscoe, S.D. Mr. Rohrbach had been a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church since 1957. Before his retirement, he was employed by Moline Malleable for 21 years. He loved working around his house, especially his flowers. A lot of people will remember Mr. Rohrbach and his wife, Lorine, as they would sit outside with their gorgeous flowers, waving to everyone as they drove past their home on Prairie Street. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lorine; his daughter, Judy (Kenneth) Metzger of St. Charles; his granddaughter, Michelle (Thomas) Crynock of Huntsville, Ala.; and his brother, Arthur (Matilda) Rohrbach of Aberdeen, S.D. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Lydia (Hauck) Rohrbach; a grandson, Kenneth Paul Metzger; and four brothers, Emil, William, Helmuth and Edwin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., St. Charles. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 101 S. Sixth Ave., St. Charles. The Rev. Timothy Silber will officiate. Burial will be at Union Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
