Blake of Levelland, and the Rev. Billy Wilkerson of Colorado City. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Howard died early Friday in Methodist Hospital where he had been a patient since Thursday. An autopsy to determine the cause of death was ordered by Wayne LeCroy, justice of the peace. Howard came to Lubbock in 192S, from Ashland. Kan. He was a machinist for Tubbs Machine Shop. Survivors are his wife; a son Harvey of 3101 58th St.; a daughter, Mrs. B. W. Duncan of Tatum, New Mexico: two brothers, Robert of 3503 2nd St. and Gerald of Midland; a sister, Mrs. Fred D. Blake of Levelland; three stepchildren and five grandsons. Pallbearers will be C. H Tubbs, Jimmy Tubbs, [illegible], Richard Pinkerton, T Graves and Paul Stanford.Mildred was his second wife; his first wife was Frances Juanita Good (1917-1968).
