Bob, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, retired from Falls Lumber Co. with 41 years of service and was a member of Springfield Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Paul; and sister, Margaret Losh. Bob is survived by his loving family; wife of 63 years, Delores; children, Robert William (Linda) Messner, Rebecca June (Mike) Welch, and Ronald Bryan (Michelle) Messner; sister, Roberta Flanagan; grandchildren, Michael Scott (Diane) Welch, Dr. Meredith L. Welch (Dr. John Piede), Beth Rich, Bridget, Bonnie, Robert Welcome, Ian Doyle, Katherine Ann, and Declan Quinn Messner; great-grandchildren, Brooks Michael Welch, Matthew, Emily and Nathan Rich; and many other dear relatives and friends. Our family would like to extend a heart felt Thank You to Roselane and Crossroads Hospice for all of their loving care and kindness. Visitation Tuesday 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Hadinger officiating.
