Miller, Virgil
Senecaville, Ohio- Virgil Miller, 65, of 18852 Sparrow Road, Senecaville, formerly of Woodsfield, died Tuesday (October. 1, 2002) at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
He was born July 23, 1937, in Zanesville to John Gordon and Elsie Sparrow Miller. He had served as postmaster at the Woodsfield Post Office at Woodsfield from 1984 to 1992. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving as a radio operator.
He is survived by his wife, June Howard Miller, whom he married on Jan. 27, 1959; one daughter, Lori Kress and her husband, Bill, of Canton; two sons, John "Joe" P. Miller and Steven L. Miller and his wife, Kym, all of Senecaville; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Miller and James Miller; and one sister, Elaine Frances Miller, who died in infancy.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Brubach-Watters Funeral Home in Summerfield. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Quaker City, Ohio ? Virgil R. Miller, 76, of Quaker City, died Monday (Aug. 12, 2002) at his home.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will be 11 a.m. Thursday with the Reverend Carol Touvell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
