He was born in Bundenthal, Pfaltz, Germany, on april 27th, 1760 and married Jeanne Bozec on my 22nd, 1792 in Auray (Brittany). At the time, he was a retired soldier. I recorded 3 sons for this couple. The family name was transformed into the french 'Maire'. He died in Auray on feb 26th, 1813. I am a direct descendant of this couple. Hope this helps!
