William "Bill" Lee Bertram
William "Bill" Lee Bertram, 58, of Carson City, Nevada, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002,at Carson Tahoe Hospital in Carson City, Nevada.
Bill was born on August 10, 1943 in Portland, Ore. to Leland H. Bertram and Elizabeth P. Chapin. He married Diane (Love) Bertram on December 22, 1990 in Minden, Nevada. He had lived in Carson City, Nev. for 13 years coming from Salem, Ore. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was an Investigator for the State of Nevada Private Investigator's Licensing Board Office of the Attorney General. His former employment was Investigator of the State of Oregon Attorney General's Office in Salem, Ore. and Detective of Springfield, Ore. Police Department. He also worked at the Carson Lanes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, father, Leland in 2000, and his mother, Elizabeth in 1997.
Surviving are wife, Diane Bertram of Carson City, Nev.; daughters, Dana McLean of Ashland, Ore.; and Teressa Deschwarnitz of Medford, Ore.; son, James Patrick Bertram of Sparta, NC; step-daughters, Deanna Marconi of San Francisco, Calif.; and Becky Grayson of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Lynn Schoenhoff of Hagerman, ID; and 7 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2002, at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church, 326 E. John Street, Carson City, Nevada.
