Jacob and Katherina HELM plus their only daughter Paulina immigrated to America through Ellis Island, New York on the 11th of August 1910.The HELM family lived in Wausau, Wisconsin, for 1½ years, and then decided to try farming at Ashley, McIntosh County, North Dakota.
