  [S927] Obituary. Ruth Sophie Renner was born June 11, 1930, in Beulah, ND, to Adolf and Alvina (Mettler) Renner. Ruth was raised on the family farm north of Beulah where she received her education. Ruth was married to Henry Genz and they lived and farmed in the Glen Ullin, ND, area. Henry died and she later married Carl Christensen on October 18, 1968, in River Falls, WI. They lived and farmed in the River Falls area until they moved to Aldrich, MN. They lived on the farm until 1976 when they moved to Dilworth, MN. Ruth entered Viking Manor, in Ulen, MN, in August of 2002. Carl preceded Ruth in death on May 13, 2007. Ruth died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Viking Manor, at seventy-seven years of age. Ruth is survived by her sons, Glenn Christensen, Fargo, ND, Paul Genz, San Antonio, TX, Adolph Genz, Bismarck, ND, Otto Genz, Montana, Charles Genz, Iowa, and Michael Genz; a daughter, Rose Glaser, Bismarck; many grandchildren; one brother, Gilbert Renner, Mandaree, ND; and two sisters, Irene Peterson, Bismarck, and Esther Braun, Golden Valley, ND. In addition to her husbands, Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Genz; and a sister, Caroline. Visitation: Saturday, May 24, 2008, from 11 AM to 1 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN. Funeral: Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 1 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
