Myrtle Olheiser, 86, Mandan, died Feb. 7, 2003, in a Mandan care center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with Major Charles Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
Myrtle was born Jan. 22, 1917, in Sanborn, the daughter of William and Ann (Rothschiller) Rambow. She married Henry Wetch, in 1935, in Huff. He died on Feb. 10, 1975. In 1983, Myrtle married Don Olheiser. He died in 1997. A resident of Mandan for most of her life, she worked in various Mandan restaurants. For 30 years, she was a Stanley dealer and sold Avon products. Four years ago, Myrtle moved to Dickinson to live with her daughter, Angie. She had recently become a resident of the MedCenter One Care Center. Myrtle loved all the people of the Salvation Army church which she attended.
She is survived by her six daughters and five sons-in-law, LaVerne and Harold Haugen, Mandan, Angie and Richard Rohr, Dickinson, Gwen and Martin Wenger, Mandan, Linda and Gary M. Himmelspach, Millroy, Minn., Debbie and Rick Rohde of Portland, Ore., and Tammie Blum, Mandan; four sons, Alden Wetch, Rapid City, S.D., Hank Wetch, Los Angeles, Gene Wetch, Las Vegas, and Floyd Wetch, Los Angeles; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Kathryn Swedberg, Seattle; and one brother and sister-in-law, August and Ellen Katzke, Delavan, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son; her husbands; one sister, Helen Miller; and four stepchildren.
