Fort Wayne - Joseph Michael Frantz, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He was born in Fort Wayne on September 5, 1942 to the late Joseph and Lucy (Eisenhauer) Frantz. He married Sharon Lee-Weaver on April 1, 1967. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of American Legion Post #82. He enjoyed traveling, tending his garden, and farming. He was employed by Hoosier Metal Recycling, Midwest Pipe & Steel, Lunz Corp. and retired from Dana Corp and Harvester. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon Frantz, sisters; Patricia (Robert) Baker and Jane (James) Knafel, brothers; John (Valerie) Frantz and Philip Frantz, brother-in-law Andrew Alder, mother-in-law, Bernita Weaver, sisters-in-law; Kathleen Vice, Kimberly Weaver and Phyllis Jane Moore. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Frantz and sister, Mary Alice Alder. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street, with visitation one half hour prior. Visitation also from 4-8 pm today (Friday) at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street, with a Rosary Vigil at 7:00 pm. Burial at Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Michael J.
