Selma Ann Crocker
Selma Ann Crocker, of Mountlake Terrace, Washington, died at the age of 74 at her home on March 4, 2009.
Selma was born April 14, 1934 in Oliver County, North Dakota. She was the oldest of six children born to Fred and Isabel Heck.
In 1955, she married Edward A. Knoll and in 1956 they moved to Seattle, Washington with their first child. Subsequently she and her husband and four children moved to Mountlake Terrace.
In 1968 Selma married Kenneth C. Crocker who has been her devoted husband and companion for 39 years.
Selma is survived by her husband, Ken Crocker; two sons, Mark Knoll and his wife, Juli, of Woodinville, Washington and Ron Knoll, of Everett, Washington; daughter, Laurie Ann Knoll, of Lake Stevens, Washington; son-in-law, Joe Carmack, of Everett, Washington; and three step-daughters, Sherrie, Vicky and Christine. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and her children's father, Ed Knoll, all of the great Seattle area.
Selma was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Doreen; and her granddaughter, Jillian Ansley Knoll.
Selma worked in the food industry for many years as a restaurant manager and caterer. She was a long-time active member of the Northwest Fuchsia Society, Sno-King Fuchsia Society and Lakebay Fuchsia Society serving as a treasurer, secretary and in numerous other capacities.
She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Merciful Jesus, grant her eternal rest!
Remembrances may be given to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Foundation at Children's Medical Center in Seattle.
A Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with a Vigil service beginning at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S, Edmonds, 425-771-1234; with the Mass of Christian Burial and Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2009, at at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 22209 ? 58th Avenue W, Mountlake Terrace.
