She was born on Jan. 1, 1922, in Charleston, W.Va., to the late Howard and Blanche Simmons Stoffel. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Orlan and Clarence Stoffel; and her sister, Dorothy Stoffel Pritt. She was also predeceased by the love of her life and loving husband, Charles P. "Mike" Jones Jr. She was a member of the 1938 graduating class of Charleston High School and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Charleston. Surviving: son, John Edward Jones Sr. and wife, Nancy Laxton Jones, of Riceville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Robin Jones Fisher and husband, Ralph, of Dublin, Va., John E.
