Eunice Janiva Faul, 89, of Hempstead Manor, Portsmouth, also known to all who knew and loved her as "Nannie", went to be with the Lord, Monday October 15, 2007. She was born March 25, 1918 at Walnut Hollow, Greenup, KY, to the late John and Nora May Parsons Smith.
Eunice is survived by her children, Nora Mae (Ron) Pickel of Portsmouth, Veronica Sue (Steven) Arnold of Otway, Paul Franklin (Sherry) Hackworth of Grove City, 3 step children: Jacob (Brenda) Faul, Jr. of Otway, William Faul of Rochester, NY, and Sharon Cook of Johnstown, OH. Grandchildren: Jacob Heath Porter, Lucas Chase Porter, Carrie Lynn Vera, Beverly Lynn Jones, Eric Brandon Pickel, Sherri (Michael) Koenig Powell, 11 step grandchildren: Mark Slorp, Kimberly Kay Perkins, Kris Faul, Michael (Rachell) Hackworth, Kathy (Mike) Mayes, Sandy Hackworth, Pamela (Dave) Wheeler, Malinda Hackworth, Rhonda Francis, Ronald Hackworth, Jeff Hackworth, and Greg Hackworth, great grandchildren: Naomi Anne Benson, Heather Yvonne Benson, William (Jr.) Benson, Elizabeth Dawn Benson, Flavious Lee Benson, Alan Lee Pickel, Jacob Dale Benson, Vanessa Vera, Anthony Vera, Ashley Vera, Courtney Kira-Jo Powell, Kenzee Hackworth, Derrick Hackworth, Jamie Cotton, Melanne Hackworth, Dee Ann Hagler, and several great and great great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Willard Lee Moore, second husband, Virgil Pistol, third husband, Ora Franklin Hackworth, and fourth husband, Jacob Ralph Faul, Sr., a sister, Eliza Josephine Smith, a brother, Manuel Woodrow Smith, one daughter, Betty Jo Koenig, step children: Alan Faul, Dorothy Hackworth, Katherine Hackworth, Thurman Hackworth, Chester Hackworth, and two grandchildren: Donald Lee Koenig, and Richard Dale Pickel.
Eunice was a lifetime member of the Oswego Church.
Services were entrusted to Botkin Funeral Home of Otway, Ohio.
