ZIEGLER, Clifford Edgar With heavy hearts, the family announces the death of Clifford Ziegler, at his home, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, in his 83rd year. Dear father to Rick (Carol) of Kitchener, Paul (Pat) of Wellesley and Debbie (Jack) Hewitson of Allenford. Loving grandfather to Cara, Cayley, Jennifer and Michelle, survived by his sister Eleanor Lunow of Kitchener. Cliff is predeceased by his wife Betty June (nee Morphy) in 1974, his parents Jacob and Nellie (nee Haines), his daughter Yvonne in 1964 and by his dear friend Anne Hewitson in 1990. Special heartfelt thanks to Marie MacKillop for her friendship and kindness throughout the years and to the entire staff of the Radiation Department at the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre for their loving care. Cliff was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 412 and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation. Celebration of the life of Clifford Ziegler will be held in the chapel of the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. W. on Friday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception and time of fellowship in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Private interment of cremated remains to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
