Born in Coeur d?Alene, Idaho, she graduated from high school in Lewiston, Idaho, and received a bachelor of science degree in embryology from the University of Idaho. She lived in Moscow, Idaho, from 1934 to 1944 when she moved to Honolulu. She married Marcus in 1945 and they lived in Hawaii until 1967. While in Hawaii she volunteered with the Outdoor Circle and the local school PTA. They moved to Portland for a short time and settled in Dallas in 1972. She was a member of Daughters of the Nile and enjoyed playing bridge. Her husband died in 1976. Survivors include her sons, Marcus of Dallas and Michael of Seattle; and two grandchildren. Visiting will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bollman Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Private interment will be at Restlawn Mausoleum in Salem. Contributions: Shriners Children?s Hospital in Portland, care of the mortuary.
