John proudly served in the United States Army as a paratrooper from 1952 to 1954. A farmer at heart, John loved working outdoors and had a gift for fixing anything. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and playing cards with family and friends. John was also a successful businessman helping to start various businesses throughout his lifetime.John was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, siblings, Lucille Zamyslowski, Frank Fischer, Raymond Fischer, Frances Stenger and Eleanor Mample.John is survived by family and many amazing friends with whom he spent so many wonderful years enjoying life to the fullest while he was able.
