  [S927] Obituary. Brown County Newspaper--13 September 1979: Norman G. McFaddin, 84, died Thurs. September 6 in Brown County General Hospital. His health had been o the decline for many months. He was the son of the late Willis and Lottie (McClintic) McFadden (sic) and a lifetime resident of this community. He was a graduate of the Sardinia High School class of 1915 and a member of the Sardinia Presbyterian Church since early youth. He was an employee of the N & W Railroad, and retired after 45 years of service with the company. He leaves his wife, Marie Maul McFaddin, whose marriage covered a span of 57 years; a son, Robert, of Bellevue, Ohio; a daughter, Kathryn Stotler, of Newtosville, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sister, Mrs. Lucille Kennedy, Cincinnati, Mrs. Zerelda Dye, Sardinia; a brother, Richard, of Felton, Delaware; and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services were held Monday Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Gus Beam Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Phillips officiating.
