Rennhack, 79, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, MI. Jerry was born Dec. 16, 1930 in Baroda, Michigan to Paul and Catherine (Livengood) Rennhack. Following graduation from Bridgman High School, Jerry served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. For the next 30 years he worked at Auto Specialties Mfg. where he retired as the foreman in the heat treating department. He was a member of the Bridgman American Legion and a friend of the Benton Harbor VFW, and also was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Rennhack is survived by his five children, sons Bruce (Nancy) Rennhack of Globe, AZ, Thomas (Pamela) Rennhack of Dothan, AL, Michael (Kathryn) Rennhack of Coloma, and daughters Suzanne (David) Saint John of Tucson, AZ and Michelle (William) Bahus of Hammond, IN. ; brothers Dick (Lucille) Rennhack of Paw Paw, MI and Gene (Lorraine) Rennhack of Coloma; sister-in-law Patricia Rennhack; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 1991, his parents and two brothers, Don and Roy Rennhack. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation with the family will take place immediately prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Rites will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Memorials in Jerry?s memory may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veteran?s (Cozy Corners)and given to the funeral home or mailed directly to 3000 Monroe N.W., Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
