She was the daughter of Harvey and Clara Tekulve Wissel, they preceded her in death.
Mrs. Huber was a 1948 graduate of Batesville High School. She worked at the Columbus Hospital as a housekeeper for five years, then went on to work at the Jennings County Extension office, where she retired. Mrs. Huber was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and served on the funeral dinners committee, St. Mary's Parish Council, and Jacob's Prayer Line. Mrs. Huber was also a member of the extension homemakers three corner club, and the past president of the County Extension Homemakers. Her hobbies included crocheting, cards, flowers and gardening.
Mrs. Huber is survived by her husband, one son, five daughters, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one brother, two sisters.
Mrs. Huber was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Nicholas, James and Harvey Wissel

Mrs. Mary C. Huber

Mary C. Huber, 78, of North Vernon, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital.
Born January 15, 1930 in Morris, IN, she was the daughter of Harvey and Clara Tekulve Wissel, they preceded her in death. She married Irvin Huber on March 31, 1951 in Morris, IN, he survives.
Mrs. Huber was a 1948 graduate of Batesville High School. She worked at the Columbus Hospital as a housekeeper for five years, then went on to work at the Jennings County Extension office, where she retired. Mrs. Huber was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and served on the funeral dinners committee, St. Mary’s Parish Council, and Jacob’s Prayer Line. Funeral Information
A funeral mass will be 10 AM, Monday, August 18, 2008 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Donahue officiating. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 2 to 6 PM at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 5 PM.
