Magdalene Wolf

Magdalene Wolf, 99, formerly of Mott, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at the Villa Marie Nursing Home in Fargo. Magdalene?s Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at St. Vincent?s Catholic Church in Mott with the Rev. Charles Zins as the celebrant.
Interment follows at the Sunny Slope Cemetery, Mott with casket bearers being her grandchildren. Visitation is from 1-9 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation continues one hour prior to services at the church on Monday and a rosary will be said at 9 a.m.
Magdalene Glasser was born June 3, 1907, in Glen Ullin, the daughter of Simon and Helen (Klein) Glasser. On November 17, 1925, she married Vincent Wolf. They made their home in rural Mott where she was a homemaker and mother. She and Vincent were married 50 years before he died in April 1976.
Magdalene enjoyed flowers, music, dancing, singing, playing piano by ear, and most of all, people. She was greatly loved by all who came in contact with her. Everyone was drawn to her wonderful sense of humor and storytelling style.
Magdalene is survived by her daughter, Delores Hoff, Fargo (longtime Richardton resident); her son Donald and wife Connie, Maple Valley, Wash.; her sister, Anna Wandler, Dickinson; nine grandchildren, Palmyra (Gery) Haag, Des Moines, Iowa, Lenora (Joel) Stevenson, Maxbass, N.D., Colette (Larry) Bellerud, Fargo, Jane (Bob) Petersen, Newberg, Ore., Tammy (Rich) Harris, Dayton, Ore., Donna (Matt) Bellow, Seattle, Wash., and Casey (Cindie) Wolf, Cle Elum, Wash.; 24 great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three children who died in infancy, grandson, Steven Wolf, son-in-law, Herman Hoff, and 15 brothers and sisters. Arrangements are with Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.
