Clara A. ?Susie? Harris, 74, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006, at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born in Troy, Indiana, on June 5, 1932. Her parents were the late Albert and Frances (Gramelspacher) Kuntz. Also preceding her in death besides her parents were her sisters, Leona Gorman and Ella Mae Mann and her husband, Winchell O. Harris.
She married Winchell O. Harris on June 28, 1955 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City. They were the first couple to be married in St. Paul?s new church.
She retired from Minor Insurance Agency, formerly in Cannelton, where she was an insurance agent.
A member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Cannelton, she was also a member of the Cannelton Library Board and a former member of Cannelton Business and Professional Women. She enjoyed painting pictures and spending time with her family at their camp on the river near Tobinsport.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Simon Cemetery in Tobinsport. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Rev. Barnabas Gillespie, OSB, will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church?s Restoration Fund or Tobinsport Cemetery Association.
