BASHA Alberta Stortz Basha passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Fred Charles Basha. Daughter of the late Josephine Stortz Hamann and Anthony J. Stortz. Mother of Joann Basha Davenport and Fred Anthony Basha. Mother-in-law of Howard A. Davenport. Grandmother of Cherilyn Davenport Norris, Randy Davenport, and Ryan Davenport. Great-grandmother of Kara Norris, Kobey and Grady Davenport. Sister of the late Louis A. Stortz, Sr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. After residing in New Orleans, LA, Mrs. Basha relocated to Kenner, LA in 1976. She retired from Orleans Parish School Board in 1995 after 31 years of service, at the time of her retirement she a was Secretary of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3601 Transcontinental Dr., Metairie, on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 12:00 noon. Visitation at the church from 10:00 am until time of Mass. Interment in Greenwood

Alberta Stortz Basha passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Fred Charles Basha. Daughter of the late Josephine Stortz Hamann and Anthony J. Stortz.
