Milford E. Baldus, 45, Story City, died Oct. 28, 1974 at Story City Hospital.
Services are Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church west of Story City, with the Rev. Fr. Carl J. Manternach officiating. Burial is to be in the church cemetery.
Born March 14, 1929 in Story City, he operated the Baldus Hatchery and Feed Store, Story City, until 1969. From 1969-1973 he was employed at RaeGene Studio and in 1973 he opened Baldus Auto Supply. Mr. Baldus was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Rita; four daughters, Lisa, Gail, Janet and Diane, all at home; a brother, Norman, Charles City; three sisters, Mrs. Alma O'Donnell, Nevada; Mrs. Marjorie Rehak, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Virginia McCoy, Story City and his mother, Mrs. M.J. Baldus, Story City. He was preceded in death by his father.
Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City.
