Dr. Harold E. Salem officiating. Cory died Tuesday, Januay 4, 2011 in Olympia, Washington. Inurnment at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens. From the time that Cory was born on October 21, 1976 he had a tough time with his health and life. He struggled with health issues and he battled them the best he could. Yet Cory always sought to check-in on others and see how others were doing. Even admist his pain and suffering. Cory thought of others and how he could be a help and comfort to them. On January 4, Cory fought his last battle and went on to be with the Lord Jesus and his loved ones who went home to heaven. We will miss Cory dearly and we love him for who he wasa special brother and son with a giving heart. Cory loved collecting coins, pets, especially Sam and Skeeter and stock trading. He loved spending time with his nephews and nieces, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and being with people he loved. Cory was a very generous person, always giving whatever he had. He loved to laugh and especially enjoyed others smiling and laughing. Grateful for having shared Corys life are his brothers, Pat (Deana) Opp, Paul Opp, Chad (Trina Ackerman) and Elton Opp, nieces and nephews, Bridger, Joshua, Patty, Sawyer, Walker, Levi, Lydia, Nicole and Megan Opp. Cory is preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Vicky Opp, and brother, Gregory Allen Opp.
