  [S927] Obituary. Floyd H. Heacock Floyd H. Heacock, 84, of 521 E. John St., Bedford, died Wednesday morning, June 21, 1989, at his home. He was born Jan 15, 1905, on Canton, Ind., to the late Foster and Clara (Martin) Heacock. On June 4, 1928, he married Elizabeth Arnold. She survives, along with these children: John F, married to the former Carole Bonadio, of Pottsville; Margaret T, wife of Philip Overbaugh, of Hanover; Mary Elizabeth, wife of John Griffin, of Pittsburgh; F Eugene,married to the former Raymonde Piers, of St Louis, MO; Ruth Ann, wife of Richard Sitler, of Pittsburgh; Catherine A, wife of Ronald Shaffer, of Quarryville; Joseph R, married to the former Frances Smith, of Boyertown; and James F, married to the former Donna Germano, of Phoenixville; 29 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother and a sister, Oliver Heacock of Newtown and Helen, wife of Gene Davidson, Bedford. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Mr Heacock was a member of St Thomas Catholic Church of Bedford and retired from AT&T after 42 years of service. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 24, at 10:30 am from St THomas Catholic Church woth Father John Vago officiating. Burial in St Thomas Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Timothy A Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford, where a wake service wil be held at 7:30 pm. Those wishing may make contributions to their favorite charity in Mr Heacock's name.
