Full Obituary: style="text-align:justify">William Edward Schoren, age 87, of Pittsfield Twp, died Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. Born in Cleveland on May 11, 1923, Bill was a son of the late William E. and Helen (nee Schlott) Schoren. For 24 years William worked as an engineer for NASA Lewis Center in Cleveland; he retired in 1982. Bill was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington and the Knights of Columbus in Parma. Survivors include his beloved wife, Joanna (nee Figler), whom he married on May 14, 1947; daughters, Kathryn Nechvatal of Maricopa, Arizona and Helen Udvardy of Jefferson, MD; sons, Joseph Schoren of Midland, MI, Lawrence Schoren of Oakland, CA, James Schoren of Ashtabula, and William R. Schoren of North Olmstead. William is also survived by sisters, Camilla Cole of Huntington Beach, CA and Sister Barbara Ann of the Ursuline Order and a brother, Joseph of Ft. Lauderville, FL. He was preceded in death by daughter, Margaret Harnish. Friends will be received from 6 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, Wellington and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 512 North Main St, Wellington with Father James Reymann officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
