  [S927] Obituary. James Riesbeck May 8, 2013 The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register RIESBECK, James David "JD," 65, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Monday May 6, 2013 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 19, 1948 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Paul and Jessie Sapp Riesbeck. JD was a retired employee of Riesbeck's Food Markets, attended the East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and dearly loved the horses on his farm. Surviving are his loving wife Denise Church Riesbeck of St. Clairsville; a son, David Jerome Riesbeck of Cambridge, OH; a sister, Paula (John) Vendlinski of Naples, FL; three brothers, Mike (Diana) Riesbeck and Bill (Loretta) Riesbeck both of St. Clairsville, Allan (Carol) Riesbeck of Dubuque, IA; several nieces and nephews; mother-in- law, Mary Church; sisters-in-law, Diana (Chuck) Hacker, Donna (Randy) Hardman, Nancy (Don) Lutz, Joyce (Tim) Cooper, Sharon (Jack) Tittle and Sue Church and her fiance Rob Wacker. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6 p.m. until time of service at 7:30 p.m. at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Belmont County Council of American Legions will conduct full military rites at 7:15 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Belmont Dialysis Center, 68639 Bannock Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
