FRANKLIN F. FYOCK, 92, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a U.S. Army World War II and Korean War veteran that served in the European Theatre with the 995th Engineers. He worked as a Brakeman Conductor with Pennsylvania Railroad for 42 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, American Legion Post 82 and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Dorothy of Fort Wayne; sons, David W. (Luann), Douglas P. (Cynitha), Daniel F. (Jeannie), John F., and Mark T., all of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Clarice Fyock; brothers, David and Jack Fyock; and sister, Clarice Fyock. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at St. Jude Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
