He married OLIVE JANE STIMPERT July 14, 1909, daughter of ROBERT STIMPERT and SARAH LAFFERRE. She was born October 23, 1892 in Wayne, Twp., Monroe County, Ohio, and died February 9, 1972 in Zanesville, Ohio. Herman J. Frank, son of August Herman Frank's, married Olive Stimpert. Herman and Olive moved to Zanesville, Ohio from Lewisville, Ohio in about 1925 in search of work. He was a machinist and mold maker at a foundry. Obituary of Herman Jay Frank: Herman Jay Frank, 61, of Ridge Road, died this morning in the Bethesda Hospital where he had been a patient one day. Mr. Frank had been employed at Hazel-Atlas Plant No. 2. A resident of Zanesville for the past 25 years, he attended the First Church of Nazarene but was a member of the Methodist church at Louisville [sic], O. Surviving are his widow, Olive Jane Frank, five sons, Elmer of Seattle, Harold of Pershing Road, Clarence, Robert and Wilfred, all of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Orr of Gratiot and Miss Bonnie Frank, also of the home; five brothers, Freeman and Osal, both of Louisville [sic](Lewisville), Wesley and Price, both of Ashland, and Oscar of Woodsfield; a sister, Mrs. Rosa DeVore of Woodsfield, and six grandchildren. The body has been removed to the Dean-Swope funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
