Alf, Richard Joseph
Of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, age 76, passed away Sunday, July 24 at home,
surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Dick
was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and attended Canisius College and graduated
from Rollins College. After serving his country in Germany he returned to the
States where he met and married his loving wife of 49 years, Jean Crowley.
After moving to Florida to start their life together, Dick went to work for
Pan American World Airways where he retired after 33 years of service. During
retirement Dick enjoyed many years of gardening, genealogy, and spending time
with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dick always loved the big
family gatherings and making sure plenty of pictures were collected for
everyone. His easy going nature, love of family and strong Catholic faith will
be missed greatly by all his family and friends. In addition to his loving
wife Jean, Dick is survived by his children Joe (Janie), Michael (Robyn), Mary
Beth (John), and Danny (Jackie); sisters Bernice Lymburner, Marion Heubusch,
