Roy Earnest Cline, 62, of 511 Evergreen St. died at Samarian Hospital Wednesday afternoon. The son of James and Louisa (Lallathin) Cline, he was born Jume 28, 1903 in Monroe County. He worked at F. E. Myers and Brothers Co. the past 18 years. On July 24 1944 he was married to Mary Geraldine Calhoun who survives. Also surviving are the daughters, Mrs. John (Jewell) Camp and Mrs. William (Vonnie) Park, both of Ashland and Ginney Lisa, at home; two sons James of Ashland and George of Germantown, Ohio; one step-daughter, Mrs. Richard Taylor of Mansfield; five brothers, Lawrence and Lester, both of Marietta, Paul of Lower Salem, Clarence of Haynesville and Wilber of Grove City; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Handschumaker and Mrs. Ida Parks, both of Lower Salem; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were one sister and one brother. He served with the U. S. Army during World War II. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Heyl and Robbins Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Munson officiating. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visiting Holurs will be Friday evening from 7-9 at the funeral home.
