A graduate of Marietta High School, she worked for the Livestock Farmers Market and was a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau. She was also a member of Lynch Church but for many years was a faithful and dedicated member of the Reno Christian Church, Reno, Ohio. She was a devoted wife and mother who had numerous interests and creative skills. There was little she couldn't figure out how to do from driving a tractor to teaching herself how to play the piano. In her later years, she traveled extensively to Florida, Alaska, Hawaii, Ireland, and even Russia! Died at age 87.
