  [S927] Obituary. Eleanor A. Hermann, nee Reeb, 100, of Belleville, IL, born June 25, 1907, in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at St. Paul's Home, Belleville, IL. Mrs. Hermann had worked at Belleville Casket Company and as a cook and housekeeper at St. Henry's Seminary in Belleville. She was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and the Perpetual Help Sodality at Cathedral. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William B. Hermann, whom she married November 29, 1947, at St. Peter's Cathedral, and who died January 12, 2003; her parents, Valentine and Magdalena, nee Glauber, Reeb; a sister, Catharine (Henry) Haas; two brothers, Leonard (Marie) Reeb and Irwin (Emma) Reeb; and nieces and nephews. She is survived by a nephew, Henry I. (Jane) Haas of Red Bud, IL; three nieces, Cathy S. (Robert) Becker and Elvira Laesser, both of Belleville, IL, and Margie (Donald) Kellmeyer of Swansea, IL; great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great-nephews; and many friends and acquaintances.
