He was born Friday, March 14, 1930, in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late Ernest and Hazel (Callaway) Lemmel. He served his country in the US Marine Corps. Family was very important to Louis, he was a True Family Man in every sense of the word.. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Roberta Lemmel; son, Darrell (Barbara) Lemmel; 2 daughters, Debbie (Gary) Kush, and Terri (Tony) Langdon; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jesse Detmer. Graveside services will be held at Greendale Cemetery, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 10am. Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Dearborn County Hospice.
