Helen Mae Schwall nee Grant

WOODSFIELD - Helen Mae Schwall, 85, of Monroe Manor died Sunday (Jan. 25, 2004) at Wheeling Hospital. She was born Sept. 3, 1918, in Monroe County to Charles Grant and Opal Hubbard Grant. She was a retired 20-year employee of the Monroe County Health Department. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ at Woodsfield and Woodsfield Chapter 268, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, William D. Schwall and his wife, Jo Ann, of Woodsfield; one daughter, Jo Ellyn Kaiser and her husband, John F. Jr., of Woodsfield; three grandchildren, Jill Kaiser Lemasters and her husband, Jason, John Kaiser III and his wife, Johnna, and Jay Schwall, all of Woodsfield; two great-grandchildren, Jaren and Jocelyn Lemasters; one nephew, Sandy Grant and his wife, Pat, of Edina, Mo.; and one niece, Erma Forshey and her husband, Hugh, of Cambridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy "Hank" Schwall; her parents; and an infant daughter, Judith Kay Schwall.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home in Woodsfield with the Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery in Woodsfield. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Eastern Star lodge services are at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
