Proposed Change: Franz Anton Stöhr (I71422)Tree: Südpfalz / Southern PalatinateLink: http://www.birkenhoerdt.net/getperson.php?personID=I71422&tree=SuedpfalzDescription: Franz Stoehr is my great grandfather. My grandmother, Elizabeth Stoehr, was one of ten children of Catherine Rebscher and Franz Stoehr. I have their marriage certificate 1872 in NYC with his parents noted as Joseph Stoehr and Magdalena Leidner. His birth year, however, was designated as 1845, and this is reaffirmed on future census data and his death certificate. I also have a NY Passenger List from 1860 that shows that Joseph travelled with Franz, age 15, along with sisters Frances and Barbara. Magdalena died in 1846, but Joseph was accompanied by a Catherina Stoehr age 48 on the ship, not sure who she was, presumably a second marriage. I am still somewhat puzzled by the three year difference in birth date, but everything else fits.
