Howard B. Hupp, age 76, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at his home. He was born April 23, 1934, in Caldwell, son of the late John and O'Tillia Nau Hupp. He was a United States Army veteran, and he retired as a surveyor after 30 years of service from the Ohio Dept. of Transportation. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, and he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Fr. Kluber Council.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Hill.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Carol Arnold Hupp, whom he married July 9, 1960; two daughters, Sharon (Nick) Dziewatkoski of Ashville and Karen (Dale) Bertke of Minster; six grandchildren, Julia, Diane, Maria, and Jared Dziewatkoski and Derek and Abby Bertke; his brothers and sisters, Luella Crum of Sarahsville, Albert (Irene) Hupp of Summerfield, Edward (Alice) Hupp of Caldwell, Thelma Johnson of Caldwell, Agatha Schafer of Senecaville, Art (Grace) Hupp of Caldwell, Leoba (Paul) Archer of Woodsfield, Rose (Ronnie) Schell of Caldwell, and Norbert "Bill" (Janice) Hupp of Caldwell; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, December 10, 2010, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home 416 East Street, Caldwell. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Saturday, December 11th at 10AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant.
