Cline, Stanley Murl Cline

Stanley Murl Cline, 55, of Marietta Rt. 4, died at 1:50 a.m. Saturday in St. Josephs Hospital, Parkersburg following an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 5, 1926, at Graysville to Mrs. Cline (Garnet) Schneider and the late Olvier Cline. He was employed for 23 years as a millwright at Union Carbide. He was a charter member and the oldest active member of the Warren Volunteer Fire Department and an emergency medical technician for the Warren VFD Rescue Squad. He ws a graduate of Graysville High School and attended Mountain State College.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Sister Arlene Weckbacher; one son, Tony Boyd of the home; one daughter, Mrs. James (Nicola) Rogers of Marietta; one half brother, Jay Cline of Short Creek, W.Va.; one sister, Eva Jean Antill of Woodsfield and two half sisters, Gertrude Gray of Wheeling, W.Va. and Mabel Welshan of Norwood, W.Va. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trina Jo, one brother, one half brother and one half sister.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Hadley Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Volunteer Fire Department.
