Vera M. Hartman, age 90, of Louisville, loving wife. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, passes away December 26, 2002 at her home following a sudden illness. Vera was born in Noble County on August 5, 1912 to the late Felix and Mollie (Rupple) Dimmerling.
Vera was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was an active homemaker. She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers. Her other interests included crocheting, sewing, cooking, and baking. Her family, especially her grandchildren will remember the love and care she out into all the things she baked and made for them.
Vera is survived by her husband Leander ?Lee? with whom she would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on June 20, 2003; her daughter and son-in-law, Ann and LeRoy Haidet of Louisville; four grandchildren, Denise (Tom) Siegfreid, Renee (Brad) Wilcox, Bryan (Amy) Haidet, and Lori (Bruce) Begue, all of Louisville, ten great grandchildren, Thomas, Jason, and Brianne Siegfried, Michael and Christina Wilcox, Joshua, Megan, and Aaron Haidet, Abbey, Ashley, and Jeff Begue, and Lorrie Jackson; one great-grandchild, Mason Wilcox, four sisters, Venola Meek, Velma McKimm, Virginia Mustacchio, and Vivian Metzger, all of Louisville. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Vincent Dimmerling.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, December 31st at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Miller as celebrant. Calling hours were Monday evening 6 - 8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home. Burial in the St. Louis Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Louis Church Building Fund.
