  [S927] Obituary. CALDWELL -- Alberta J. Mallett, 82, of Ohio 340, Caldwell, died Wednesday, Feb. 16 2005, at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell. She was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Middleburg, to the late Alex and Ida Springer Bettinger. Surviving are three sons, Larry, Lynn and Kevin Mallett of Caldwell; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kathlene McCool of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Gay, Ray and Walter Bettinger; and three sisters, Buela Hesson, Clara Gildow and Helen Counsins. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, Feb. 17, 2005, at Murphy-McCurdy Funeral Home, Caldwell. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hiramsburg Cemetery.
