Mrs. Ida Warner, 89, of Frame Nursing Home at 807 Findley avenue, a former
Noble County resident, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday (June 27) at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born Sept. 24, 1879 in Noble County, a daughter of Joseph and Catherine
Fisher Blake. Mrs. Warner was a member of St. Michael?s Catholic church at Carlisle
and its Catholic Women?s Club.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Leona) Neff of 1307 Central avenue, Mrs.
Evert (Pauline) Calahan of 532 Luck avenue; and Mrs. Lafe (Marie ) Hoy) of 793 West-
bourne avenue; four sons, Ernest Warner of Dayton, Raphael Warner of Columbus, Edward
Warner of Westwood drive, and Paul Warner of Caldwell Route 1; 15 grandchildren and 28
great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Finley, and Misses Matilda, Sophia, and
Gertrude Blake, all of Canton; and a brother, Albert Blake of Louisville. Her husband,
Albert Warner, died in 1928. Two sons, Wilbert and Harry, a sister and a brother are
deceased.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brubach Funeral
Home in Summerfield. Requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Michael?s
Catholic church with Rev. Fr. Rudolph Wargo officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
