Eaton, 66, of 124 E. Ashland Ave., died Thursday at Jewish Hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired employee of National Distillers Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Verna Hubbs; three sons, John C., David L. and Dennis M. Eaton; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Parrino and Mrs. Michael Kurzendoerfer; five sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Trompeter, Mrs. Blanche Curry, Mrs Marie Walter, Mrs. Julie Jones and Mrs. Viola Henley; and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. Sixth St., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington. Visitation at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
