Obituary from the Zanesville Times Recorder, page 2-A, 24 Apr 1973:
CALDWELL - Felix Schott, 88, of Caldwell Route 1 (the
Fulda community) died at 3:40 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph?s Hos-
pital in Parkersburg, W. Va., where he had been a patient a few
days.
He was born in Noble County, Sept. 26, 1884, a son
of Leonard and Margaret Blake Schott. He was the last survi-
vor of a family of five. His wife, Sophia Warner Schott, died in
1965.
Survivors include a son, Elmer Schott, of Caldwell
Route 4; four daughters, Mrs. Elnora Schwallie of Louisville,
Mrs. Esther Gerst of Caldwell Route 1, Mrs. Elverna Peinovich
of Canton and Mrs. Ethel Schoeppner of Harrietsville; 17 grand-
children and 15 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Ellen Dudzik,
is deceased.
Brubach Funeral Home in Summerfield is in charge of
arrangements and will take the body to Murphy Funeral Home
in Caldwell where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Wednesday.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St.
Mary's Catholic church in Fulda conducted by Rev. Fr. Walter
Heinz. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
