John Andrew "Jack" Krannitz THE PLAINS: John Andrew "Jack" Krannitz, age 67, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital- Columbus, Ohio. Born August 20, 1945 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul Edward and Mary Reed (Dougall) Krannitz Sr.. Jack was a Laborer for Bailey Corporations in Lancaster, Ohio and was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio. He was a former member of the Lancaster Eagles Lodge and Logan Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (Curl) Krannitz of Logan, Ohio; two daughters, Robin (Brad ) Kline of Logan, Ohio and Tara (William) Wright of Ohio; two grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Kline of Logan, Ohio and Michael Anthony Miller of Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Korbin Dallas Chandler of Logan, Ohio and Madison Mae Miller of Ohio; one brother, Paul Edward (Marge) Krannitz Jr. of Logan, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Diane Krannitz and Jean Ann Krannitz both of Logan, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard R. "Rick" Krannitz and Robert Joseph "Bobby Joe" Krannitz and one sister, Margaret "Mae" Thompson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 8, 2013 at St. John Catholic Church with Monsignor William A. Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. A Christian Vigil service will be held at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
