  [S927] Obituary. Lafayette Journal & Courier, Wednesday Evening, June 12, 1946 Mrs. Henry Winter Mrs. Elizabeth (Braun) Winter, 71, widow of Henry W. Winter, died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth hospital after a several months illness. The family home is at 1106 Fifth avenue. Born in Lafayette, Mrs. Winter was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Braun. On October 26, 1898, she marrried Mr. Winter, who died in September, 1943. She was a member of St. Boniface church and the Third Order of St. Francis. Surviving are a daughter, Christina Margaret Winter, and the following sisters and brothers: Mary and Christina Braun, Mrs. George F. Shallenberger, August and Balser Braun.
