SEESE - Alma Pearl, 76, Richland, died Oct. 23, 2003, at Shadyside Hospital. Born March 23, 1927, in Richland Township, daughter of the late Ervin L. Sr. and Hazel (Giffin) Bloom. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Sylvia Dian. Survived by husband of 56 years, Harry; and these children, Harry James, married to the former Janet Griffith, Richland; Linda, wife of Barry Kovach Sr., Windber; George, married to the former Susan Fetzer, Geistown; and Mary Ann wife of Ron Eder, Felton; grandchildren, Melissa and Jon Kelly; Jennifer Seese; Stephanie Kovach and fiance, Steven Evans; Matthew and Janine Seese; Heather and Ellen Seese; Barry Kovach Jr.; and Tashina and Travis Eder; two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Abigale; brothers and sisters, June Seese, Ervin and Lois Bloom, Merna and Arthur Nagle, Kenneth and Eileen Bloom, Ernest and Kathy Bloom, Jean and Emil Simanski and Carol and Ralph Schneck; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Dunmyer Lutheran Church and the Lydia Circle. Also a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 2064. Alma sewed and quilted and took very good care of her family. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Henderson-Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Pastor David N. Finney. Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Leukemia Society.
