He was born in Bellevue to Paul Robert "Bob" and Peggy R. (Griffin) Heft on January 31, 1947. Paul graduated from York High School in 1965 and was a member of the National Honor Society. He attended Bowling Green State University. Paul served in the US Army for two years during the VietNam War. Paul worked for Sunrise Co-op for over 40 years. He is survived by his mother, Peggy in Bellevue; his brother, Ed Heft of Bellevue; and his sister, Barbara Heft of Bellevue. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Robert. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8pm Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue. His funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, Bellevue with the Rev. Chris LaLonde officiating. Burial will follow in York Chapel Cemetery.
